3	101	Daryn Wainhouse	RP	19	JC	MILB	$425K	Fly ball fast ball specialist. His primary use will be in relief, but with 4 pitches he might be able to find time in a tandem rotation. He's not a superstar but could get major league action.
4	133	Willis Duffy	RP	18	HS	MILB	$350K	Of all the relievers taken by the McCoys, I like Duffy the best. High velocity groundball pitcher with 2 plus pitches and good durability.
5	165	Charley Hogan	RP	21	COL	---	---	Seeking over 2M he does have some talent but not sure if 2M+ is a wise investment.

Summary: Got the catcher they desperately needed, but didn't address the impending holes at 3B or in the OF. They did however get a slew of quality relievers to bolster a declining pen.

3	102	Luis Perez	SP	21	COL	MILB	$425K	4A type of Pitcher, He might find a role in long relief for a short time, but his skills do not match a player with staying power.
4	134	Kyle Hollins	P	21	COL	---	---	Looking for 7M, In other words he's not going to be signed.
5	166	Tori Hughes	RP	21	COL	MILB	$250K	CAREER MINOR LEAGUER

Summary: 2^nd year they went after a top flight starter. This time though Clark is not quite top flight. After time the draft really goes down hill as the Gamble looks to have thrown darts at a board to land on this assorted crew. Not much was picked up this season

1	38	Tony Funaki	CF	18	HS	MILB	$800K	Defensive stud and all around speedster. Funaki is not going to set the place a rockin' with his bat through, He is an average hitter with good batting splits. Poor Makeup says he won't amount to much.
3	83	Reese Matheson	SP	22	COL	MILB	$425K	Solid 3rd rounder with good control and 3 solid pitches an AAA like right/left split will hurt his chances to make the pros someday.
4	115	Michael Singleton	3B	18	HS	---	---	Signing issues allowed Singleton to fall to the 4th round. He is by no means a superstar, but he offers an average bat with plus speed. He does have a strikeout issue.
5	147	Mark Cameron	SP	20	JC	MILB	$250K	CAREER MINOR LEAGUER

Summary: Needed a SS and took a Closer. Young will be valuable, just not quite what the team needed. Funaki is a perfect fit at Center if a team can hide his bat toward the bottom of the order. The rest of the class might see some time in the majors but at this point no one is going to make much of a dent.

1	31	Grant Waltman	RP	18	HS	---	---	Solid late 1st round reliever. He has the splits and control to have a lot of success at the major league level. His major drawbacks are being a soft tosser and his Bball dreams.
1	35	Raymond Jennings	RP	18	HS	---	---	It can now be said with some certainty that Wichita recruits relievers off the basketball court. Another solid bullpen guy with basketball dreams.
1	37	Bernie Jacquez	LF	18	HS	---	---	Above average bat and good speed combine to make Bernie a late 1st rounder. He is also looking into Football as a career option.
1	43	Felipe DaSilva	C	22	COL	MILB	$600K	All hitting little defense type catcher. He isn't going to help a whole lot behind the dish, but he probably won't hurt a whole lot either. His bat should dictate his game.
2	51	Lance Kieschnick	C	18	HS	MILB	$550K	See above but with less power and offering even less behind the dish.
2	77	Roosevelt Lowe	LF	18	HS	---	---	NOT SCOUTED
3	109	Spike Hoffman	C	18	HS	MILB	$425K	Defensive-minded catcher. He won't win many awards at the plate, but his glove and pitch calling might get him a nod some day.
4	141	Doug Quinn	SS	18	HS	---	---	Defense first SS. His bat isn't great and he has no power, but he is light dynamite in the field. Also pretty good in the Ice rink where he will most likely end up.
5	173	Daniel Benson	C	21	COL	MILB	$250K	A DH who can't hit well enough to play every day. Could get cut after a season without DITR.

Summary: Needed a catcher and draft a whole lot of them. They got a lot of bang for their buck in this draft. When a team has 5 1^st rounders, you expect a lot of value and they sure got it.
