Q: The Braves have never made a playoff appearance. What do you think is the reason behind this?
A: That's pretty easy to answer, it's my inability to manage a team, especially my failures in making good trades- and I never had a consistent strategy for my franchise. In hindsight I think that for at least the first 5 seasons I didn't have a clue what I was doing (and today it's not much better).
Q: Out of the five players you promoted to the ML's this season which has worked out the best for you?
A: Not much to celebrate here, it's probably D'Angelo Cervantes although he's not a great player, more of a backup. He's is badly overmatched, but always scrambling to hold his own.
Q: In your opinion, what minor league player, in your franchise, has the most potential to be a ML star and why?
A: I have high hopes for Ivan Johnson at AA, great control, high velocity. From the hitters, Travis Green at HighA has some great ratings, but is injured now, so we'll have to see how he will rebound from that.
Q: Which Braves player, past or present, have the fans in Atlanta been most fond of, and why?
A: Jose Jose, a humble man and great pitcher who saved tons of games for a mediocre team. He always gave us more than expected..
Q: Which Braves player, past or present, the fans have the highest hopes for, only to have them dashed by poor performance?
A: Probably Junior Buckley and Joshua Johnson. Buckley had some decent stats, but both never really seemed to arrive in Atlanta. The main reason though is that both were part of the deal for Timothy Garcia, a trade that I never, never ever should have made.
Q: Which NL team do you consider to be your biggest rival?
A: The Burros are the big bully in our division and pullmeafredo always gets the better of me in trades we do. I probably should never again so much as consider a deal with him.
Q What trade have you made that you have the most regrets over?
A: See above.
Q: What players on your team (past/present) have had the best nicknames?
A: Roy 'out of the' Park (pure irony); Ralph 'Charming' Carmona (biggest womanizer on the Braves), Damaso 'Caros' Santana (better singer than pitcher).
Q: What player on your team has the best theme music?
A: That was the late game combo of Jose Perez ('Road to hell' from Bruce Dickinson) and Jose Jose ('Dead ringer for love' from Meat Loaf)
Q: In closing, please list the players who have played on your team that you feel are Hall of Fame worthy?
A: Timothy Garcia, Jose Jose, Eugene Walker, Wilfredo Terrero, Jose Perez, Jaret Dunn
