Milwaukee Marauders

1	33	Bruce O'Day	RP	18	Solid top line relieve pitcher, O'Day has 2 awesome pitches equally as great control and solid durability. He is a great Reliever to have.
1	44	Henry Malloy	P	18	I like Malloy with a late supplemental. He is a solid long reliever or a 6th starter. His durability will keep him from taking his turn every 5th turn. If he had the durability he would have been a top 15 pick for sure. Without it his 4 plus pitches and solid control better fit a bullpen role.
1	55	Ivan Schmidt	LF	18	Excellent speed and a solid hitter, he should be a solid ML'er but might lack any star power. He would be a fine #8 or 9 hitter for Milwaukee. His makeup will hold him back and it will take him time to become a factor.---
2	95	Horacio Mateo	CF	22	Another speed guy with a light bat, Mateo will be a factor in the field and should be able to cover a lot of ground. He is a great 2nd round pick up.
3	128	Harold Valentin	P	19	NOT SCOUTED---
4	160	Matthew Glauber	P	19	Poor splits will allow him to be an inning eater in the minors for a long time. I love his type for just that purpose.
5	167	Cecil Burkett	P	19	NOT SCOUTED
5	192	Darrel Sele	P	18	Poor control and poor work ethic will doom him. If you can get through to this blockhead you might have a solid 5th round pick.

SUMMARY: The one position Milwaukee seems to have a stockpile of young talent is at the Bullpen position. You can never have enough pitch, but still relievers seem to be a dime a dozen in Ryan, I'm not sure you can get much value out of them unless they are on the extreme top end. That being Said O'Day is a fine reliever and should be a quality arm, who can be looked at to pitch 45-60 innings a season of quality relief. Malloy is the real catch , if you are a savvy team you could make use of Malloy's talents as an ace pitcher. His role would need to be crafted for him and maintained, He would not be a pitcher that you could let Simmy run out for you and maintain. Overall 4 solid pickups mean a good draft.

Madison Massa's

1	31	Jeromy Pride	P	18	Great pick at the end of the 1st round. Pride has the work ethic to make it as a starter in the ML. He is most likely not a superstar but could see an all star game or 2 with plus pitches and solid stamina. His control is a big knock as he will struggle to find his target on occasion.
1	43	Ricardo Franco	CF	22	Better suited for 2nd base, Franco is an average hitter with above average speed, he isn't going to star anywhere in the league, but might be an okay replacement guy in a lineup until the real starter is ready.
2	73	Brian Judd	3B	20	Defensively he is better suited for the OF than 3B, Judd is a powerful JUCO prospect who should throw up a line similar to .240 30hr 95SO. Solid for a 2nd round pick.
2	93	Brutus Montgomery	SS	18	Average SS with a poor bat but solid understanding of the game, he could be a solid defensive late inning guy if he makes his projections. A Solid runner if he figures out the hitting part of this game he becomes a real gem.
3	126	Hawk Quinn	3B	18	All power hitting prospect, he doesn't offer enough outside of his elite power to rattle too many cages in the Majors. He will strike out a lot though
4	158	Pascal Tatis	RF	18	All speed no bat not much glove, Did I say he was fast? That's all you get with him.
5	190	Keith Paronto	P	20	Long Relieve option, might be In the ML as a 4A player, but I don't project a long storied career here.

SUMMARY: Pride is someone to be proud of at the end of the 1^st round. He should be in the leaguer and make a solid impact. The rest of the prospects seem to be 4A quality or lower. Madison seem to be struggling to find any quality with their picks and though they seem to pick wide open and not target any one type of player they still seem to miss on a number of picks.

1	27	Willie Balfour	RF	19	He's a DH who might be okay at 1B on occasion. You have to love his power and speed, but most of his speed is negated by poor base running. His low makeup also concerned teams with his potential never being met. At 27 he's a fine pickup
2	89	Frank Perez	P	20	Great 2nd round pickup, Perez has great presence on the mound, solid control, but lacks a great pitch to propel him into the 1st round. In the 2nd round Fargo has an opportunity to have a solid prospect.
3	122	Mendy Miller	2B	20	NOT SCOUTED--
4	154	Anthony Biggio	SS	22	Great defender with a solid bat, he has no power and above average speed. With his defense he should be a solid ML'er Just doesn't expect much from him at the plate. Fairly developed his makeup indicates it will take a lot of prodding to get him to potential---
5	186	Terry Verdugo	RF	20	NOT SCOUTED

SUMMARY: Fargo currently resides deep in the basement of the AL North so adding to the Farm is a great way to renew the team. Fargo has had success in the past with DH quality hitters giving Aaron Stone, Mark Snyder, and Bill Darwin many at-bats in their time in New York (now Fargo) Balfour will attempt to be the 1^st guy they actually draft to fill that need. I love Frank Perez, but it will take a special someone to give him a shot to start with his lack of quality pitches. Still he belongs in the ML someday.

Minnesota Wogeban's

1	8	Sterling Daniels	P	21	Potential Ace, Sterling is well developed and should move through the minors quickly. He has some signing issues and is considering returning to Collage, Being a top 10 pick though that is probably unlikely.
2	68	Rajai Fields	CF	18	NOT SCOUTED
3	104	Derrek Hicks	3B	20	Well developed power and a solid set of splits, but he's the type a guy that teams take flyers on for AAA and bring up a few times in the season to fill in needs. He's not a bad pick in the 3rd round.
4	136	Ricky Hermansen	SS	18	NOT SCOUTED
5	168	Shawn Evans	LF	19	Has power and solid hitting, but is projected to struggle with Ml quality pitching, I would guess you would be looking at a guy with a line of about .217 25 HR 100K a season.

SUMMARY: Farm adds another round of solid picks. Daniels would be nice on anyone's team, Minnesota has to be happy that he fell to the 8^th pick; he should be on the mound within 3 seasons in Minnesota. Hicks will be good filler for the team until his options run out.
